Rania Ajami is an award-winning filmmaker and the founder and director of Jumping Pages, a children’s media company that is working with new digital platforms to create visually unique and highly interactive experiences, stories, and games for children.
Raised in London to parents of Lebanese origin, Rania is a graduate of Princeton University and received her MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she held a Global Fellowship in the Performing Arts and a Film Program Fellowship.
As a filmmaker, Rania garnered many awards and high-profile media recognition for her work, especially her documentary on Qaddafi’s Female Bodyguards, which she filmed long before the embargo was lifted, and her feature film Asylum Seekers, which came out in 2009.
Rania Ajami is now working with the Jumping Pages team to create original and interactive content across multiple platforms. Jumping Pages’ productions have been hailed by reviewers as “absolutely gorgeous” “like Disney and Pixar” and the “epitome of interactive books.”

Walter Krudop is passionate about bringing traditional artistic methods to the digital realm. He uses story, design, art and animation to create content in the entertainment, publishing and research fields. In publishing, Walter wrote, illustrated, and designed children’s books. His works include books with Atheneum, Simon & Schuster, Farrar Straus and Giroux. In the animation industry, Walter collaborated with network television companies to create new content. His work has been highlighted in Booklist, Society of Illustrators, and the New York Times.
For Marilys Ernst, app development, story content and entertainment in emerging technology have been the essence her work for the past four years. As a creative producer for web and app development, with a background in video integration in multi-media theater and live performance, Marilys has enjoyed work that is creative, technical, challenging and beautiful. Marilys enjoys working on projects that allow her to produce work that builds upon her strong background as both a creative and a digital technician. In her role as creative producer, she has enjoyed the opportunity to team lead and play with skilled designers and to be placed at the heart of an industry for which she believes she has much to offer.
Ernst is the owner of MI Artbox, a think tank for entertainment professionals based in Manhattan and co-owner of the production company, Open Sesame Productions, Inc.
David Majzlin’s film credits include Stille, (Winner – Best Score – Avignon Film Festival), Being Reel, (Winner – Grand Prize – Project Greenlight / Coca-Cola® Refreshing Filmmaker Competition), Herb and Dorothy, (Winner – Audience Award – Silverdocs, Hamptons Film Fest), Virgin Larry (Winner – Coen Brothers Audience Award – Brooklyn International Film Festival), Youth Knows No Pain (HBO Films), and Sins Of My Father (Sundance FF., HBO Films).
Mona Lisa Mouallem began her career in journalism 10 years ago. She began as a reporter with Lebanon’s The Daily Star. She then made her way into the world of television, beginning at NBC and then as a producer at CNN, where she worked for Anderson Cooper 360 and Fareed Zakaria GPS. Both shows have been nominated multiple times for Emmys and she earned a Peabody award for her work at GPS.
Ann Marshall grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and earned her BFA from School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has worked in a gallery, illustrated an award winning children’s book on the Holocaust, and traveled nationally and internationally as an ethnographer and consumer anthropologist . Her fine art work has been exhibited in New York City’s Gallery at Lincoln Center. She now works as a portrait, fine artist, and illustrator.
